Estefanía Fernández Rabanetti is an English teacher and Certified Public Translator in English, and holds a postgraduate degree in Literary Translation. She works as an associate professor in Literary Translation and English IV Applied to Translation at the Facultad de Lenguas, UNCo, Arg. As a researcher, she studies the work of Indigenous poet Joy Harjo, from the Muscogee nation, following an interdisciplinary approach that involves memory studies, translation and intermedial studies. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Social Sciences and Humanities at the Universidad Nacional de Río Negro, Arg.

Leticia Pisani is a Certified Public Translator in English and holds a Master’s degree in Educational Processes Mediated by Technologies. She serves as an assistant professor in Translation Methodology and Literary Translation. She co-directs the PIN J042 project Corpus design in translator training. She has worked as a translator and university lecturer at various institutions of Argentina. Her areas of interest include translation methodology, the translation of humanistic texts, academic literacy, and university teaching.

Camila Alitta is a student of the English Public Translation course at Universidad Nacional del Comahue. She is currently sitting for the last final exams of her academic course. Her primary areas of interest include scientific, technical, and audiovisual translation. Additionally, she specializes in subtitling. As a member of the academic unit, she has contributed to conferences and events hosted by the University. She has also participated as a speaker at Jornadas de Jóvenes Investigadores in 2024.

Camila Solís is a translation student at the Facultad de Lenguas at the Universidad Nacional del Comahue, Argentina. Currently, she’s sitting for her last final exams to graduate. Her areas of interest are scientific and audiovisual translation. She is also a member of the research project J042: Diseño y análisis de corpus textuales para el desarrollo de la competencia traductora. In 2023, she helped to organise the panel discussion “Sobre la visibilización de la traducción”.

Anisa Perouene is an advanced student at the Certified Translator Program at Universidad Nacional del Comahue. Currently, she is taking the last finals of the five-year program and is a member of the research project J042: Diseño y análisis de corpus textuales para el desarrollo de la competencia traductora. Her areas of interest are legal and audiovisual translation. She was one of the organisers of the panel discussion “sobre la visibilización de la traducción” in 2023 and of the Jornadas de Jóvenes Investigadores in 2024.

Camila Seru is a student of the English Public Translation course at Universidad Nacional del Comahue, Argentina. She is currently finishing her studies and working as a student assistant on a research project centered around corpus analysis and translation competence development. She has taken part in different translation conferences in recent years, both as an attendee and as a volunteer. Her main area of interest is audiovisual translation. 

Ana Laura Silva is a student of the Certified Public Translation course at Universidad Nacional del Comahue. She is currently in the final stage of the course and is sitting her last final exams. The areas she is most interested in are legal, medical and social sciences translation. In the last year, she participated as a speaker in the Jornadas de Jóvenes Investigadores.

Elisa Anahí Closs is a senior English translation student at Universidad Nacional del Comahue (UNCo), Argentina. She participated in the UNCo subtitling project for the deaf and hard of hearing of the documentary film “Polvareda de un trovero”, which was produced by Instituto Universitario Patagónico de las Artes (IUPA) and released in 2017. She assisted as a reviewer of some chapters in the books “A lingüistiquearla” and “¿Para qué lingüistiquearla?” published by UNCo in 2018 and 2021, respectively. In 2024 she took part in the UNCo dubbing project into English of “Rüpu, un viaje de Alén de la Patagonia”, an animated short film by IUPA.
